Re: Engine Build Ideas. Please Discuss

I really would like to see if I can come up with a better design. I would really like to take a head and fill in the intake passages to drill and shape my own and calculate the optimum flow rate. I would really like to just outright design my own cylinder head. That I doubt I will have money for tha...

Engine Build Ideas. Please Discuss

I did not want to hijack Punk_Mini's thread so I started this one to voice and discuss what I would like to do for an engine build. Please feel free to make suggestions. I want to try something completely new. The reason I would change the charger is for a roots type. Far more efficient at producing...

Re: What Happon?

do you have the list of exactly what was done? I am curious because I am contemplating building an engine myself and putting a new supercharger on with an electric water pump.

Green to white

I have thought about it since I bought my BRG/BRG MINI. I am thinking about getting the roof vinyl wrapped white. I would like everyone's thoughts and suggestions on the matter. Please recommend shops that have been used in the Kansas City area that I should talk to to possibly have this done. Thank...

Re: My How you've grown!

I have not yet see the IQ however I do know that the Fiat 500 is on its way stateside. They will be sold at Chrysler dealers as a Fiat. Those are pretty tiny. I am actually anxious to drive one. the top treatment is hideous! if they fixed the top then it would look that much better. both the coupe a...

Re: What tire size?

I can say I did a ton of research on them (DWS) and chose the dunlops because I found some rather disturbing experiences that customers had had with warranty issues and the tires becoming unbalanced/cupped pretty quickly. They were also on backorder for a 205/45/17 which is what i wanted when lookin...

Re: Caliper Covers

very interesting indeed. I would be very curious to know the benefits and downsides to these. I would imagine they hurt airflow over the caliper trapping heat. I think I would rather have a clear splash shield mounted between the wheel and hub. made out of Lexan (sp) or something strong but clear. Y...

Re: What tire size?

dunlop sp sport signatures in a 205/50/R17. That is what I just put on my car and they are awesome! No fitment issues and my speedo is probably spot on now. You have extra clearance for the slightly taller sidewalls. I don't and still no problems. Extremely comfortable, very grippy, all season and l...

Re: Polyurethane Front Control Arm Bushings

if people need a hand I can gladly help. the procedure on NAM states to lower the rear of the subframe leaving the engine suspended. It will take a bit of time I would think but in essence should be fairly easy. These cars are well designed from what I have worked on before (chevy cars cough)
