I was at Baron this morning for my "10,000 mile" oil change and Rick confirmed that the MINIs will be moving in to the VW building in the spring of 2009. He showed me the concept pictures of the revamp for the building. It will look a lot nicer than the building does currently.

We left Copper Mountain this morning at 3:30 am to make sun rise on Mt Evans, then run the Western Dragon on the way out. We got home at 6:30 pm, picked up the boys and unloaded the MINI. T...

The only thing the weather sites seem to agree on is the chance for thunderstorms every day. They do seem to think it will only be afternoon storms though everything should be good! Hopefully, the weather reports are incorrect and it will be cool, sunny and beautiful in the mountains. :D :D Either ...

Sorry to hear about your beagle.
I love the lab, he is a cutie. It is great that you will have him at MITM... since I will be in "lab withdrawal".

LittleRed is right Laurie you can pack a lot more stuff in your MINI then you think. Last year, I packed all the stuff we needed, might need or want in Cousteau and only had to put one of the seats down. There was still plenty of room to haul back all the stuff we ( okay, mostly me) purchased.

Frank- Paula from Harvesters sent me your phonemail. You are signed up for the September 6th date. The reason the form indicates April 18th is because VolunteerMatch.com allows organizations looking for help to post their request for one year. Harvesters request was submitted in April. It looks a li...

Last I remember the price of the club sticker was $3, correct me if I am wrong please, but does that money get put back into the Kitty? I dont see why we should pay for the club stickers, if anyone can get one and club funds are used to pay for the creation of them. Of course if the funds go back i...

Yeah, it will be nice to get up in the morning and need a jacket and long pants then change over to shorts in the afternoon. We had a great time last year! Besides the motoring about on the twisty roads, there was lots of art galleries, museums and trails to explore. The views were spectacular! I am...

That is great, thanks everyone!  Remember to sign up through MINIUSA.com, so you can get your very own Motoring Heart grill badge to pro...

We will leave around 2:30-3:00 am on Thursday. Shall we wait up with a night cap? Thanks for the offer, but hopefully we will be there well before that even if we stop off at Red Rocks on the way up. We should roll in around 2:30 in the afternoon (unless Scott drives) See ya on the mou...

For those of you that are still undecided... it is NOT to late to participate. I have arranged for an extension on our final numbers until Saturday. So come on out and participate. Thank you to all those who have volunteered already! So far, we have 9 volunteers for September 20, so lets do 1-3 pm. ...

Don't know how many, and it'll depend a bit on when it is, but if at all possible for me to be there, I will be. If you want, a dear friend of mine works at Harvesters, and I can help work out details with her if you would like. Thanks MiniGeoff for the offer. Haravsters have been great to work wit...

Hello, Does everyone need more time to determine a date which works best? If that is the case I can contact Harvesters in the morning to see about getting an extension for another week. If there is not any interest in this type of event, please let me know that too, so I can get the date set for the...

Gee, I was getting a little worried... So far the 20th is the date (2 to 1). I can arrange it so we can split the group across the both date options if we have others that the 6th works better for. Just let me know... Remember to fill out the volunteer form for Harvesters on MNIUSA.COM and add KC MI...
