Anyone know of a good, reliable and inexpensive man or woman in town that can work on a MINI? I have a couple of issues that is in need of care.

Because there are different types of two-way radios--those with sub stations and those without-- lets just use channel 7. If you tend to get lost or do not have a GPS, a two-way may come in handy. This will be an epic event so get there early and buy often.

How about stopping at Tucumcari, NM. That's about 615 miles from KC and 10 1/2 hours driving time not including lunch and pee breaks. That will leave 600 miles and 10 more hours driving time to Tempi. Subject to change---

I'm sure we will make a decision where to stop when the event gets a little closer.

Charlotte and I are going. Frank (Blugoose) is going too.

Before you do anything, check your brake fluid level in the master cylinder. If it is low, the light will come on. Be sure to use dot 4 fluid.

The Conti Pro Contact SSR is a H rated tire instead of a V or W high performance tire. As far as the gripping power of an all season, it should have pretty good traction.
