Regular Maintenance

What things need to be regularly maintained and so on on a 2006 Mini Cooper S? Mine has 44,200 miles on it currently. Next oil change is set at 49,000 on my car.

Re: R53 Armrest Worthwhile????

Tom told me the blasted thing gets in the way when you need to use your e-brake. I'd sell mine with the lid that won't close if I knew someone would buy it that way. A replacement lid is $90 but I don't think that is the problem and it might be the lower part of the latch assembly which is molded in...

Re: R53 Armrest Worthwhile????

I have one that came in my car and it I have realized gets in the way, lol. Plus the latch wears out on the lid so it doesn't stay closed. I'm tempted to remove mine. I have considered replacing it or repairing it but a new one costs over $200.00

Strut Tower Defenders are installed

Tom installed my strut tower defenders from Cravenspeed. Wow was the driver's side mushroomed. It's flattened out now. Car handles great and tracks straighter than before. Very pleased.

I'm getting my Strut Tower Defenders for Oliver by the end of the week and should have those installed soon. I am looking forward to my first full year with my Mini and hopefully will get to know it better. It has certainly shown me what it likes and doesn't like lol. I think he and I are getting al...

NEW PHOTOSHOOT (MINI'S AT THE NELSON)

Need some help with this. I want to treat the Mini as a work of art which it is. I would like to talk to the Nelson-Atkins Museum about parking 30 or so MINI's from the KC Mini Club in the forecourt of the museum and doing some photos, Clint will provide his expert eye for this. Thought it might be ...

Re: Hi, I was spotted!

Awesome! :) I noticed that you had a Kansas City Art Institute sticker on your car but your plates are from a different state (Louisiana? maybe. Can't remember). So I figured you might be new and found a club card in my bag and left it for you :) BTW, I couldn't help but look at your cars huge mud ...

Here they are! All are untouched and every pic taken yesterday is there so some of them may not be worth viewing. It is hosted on my personal home server so if it is slow I apologize. Also please don't put links to the site/pics on NAM or similar. I don't want my ISP getting any crazy ideas if ther...

I'm working on getting the pictures uploaded. My photos came out great but I have the stupid time an...

After doing some research it would appear that possibly a former member of a UK band owned my car. The band is either Bad Manners or Hooligans. Not sure on either though. Doing research.
