You got it. By the Status Quo. From my days in grade school in England in the 60's.

When I look up to the skies
I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow
I rush home to bed I soak my head
I see your face underneath my pillow
I wake next morning, tired, still yawning
See your face come peeping through my window

Probably not me. I'm rarely south of the river, mostly in Liberty or the Northland.

No pictures. I forgot my camera and my music CD's. Had to listen to some country music on the radio for part of the trip! I prefer classic rock.

Road Trip to California

Just got back from week long road trip to Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Santa Fe, and Sacramento, CA to visit with clients. 30 hours driving 2035 miles one-way in my MINI. Not exactly a local scenic drive but had great fun and saw some scenic parts of the western US. 150 miles of the Mojave Desert is pre...

Dave, Thanks for the nice comments. I am getting better each time and can't wait to go again next year. It is the absolute most fun I have ever had in a car. I just love my MINI even if it only has 115hp. That was a GTO that blew past me on the straight during run 3. It was fun staying on his butt t...

Mike R, I don't think I passed you but I did run in front of you for a lap or two during the second session. Thanks for the video Alex.

Hope to post some of my in-car video in the next few days.

HPT

Ditto. That was a blast! Thanks MiniDave for suggesting that others join in the fun. I'm glad I took you up on the offer! Even though my Cooper is the base model with a CVT, I didn't know it could do what it did on the track. My first instructor was great demonstrating what the car could do and he s...
