Re: Classic Minis: brake servo or no?

I just removed the A/C from a mid 90's Japanese spec SPi, it really helps in the front of the car, not much else.....before and after pics. I think your best bet is just to leave it alone and drive it....flush the brake fluid, do all the usual maintenance. Is yours an automatic or manual transmissio...

Re: Classic Minis: brake servo or no?

The MIntex pads are a great compromise....they'll do fine with or without the brake booster. But..... I like having the power brakes on my 89 Racing Green. I put a booster on my 80 Clubman Estate when I had it too.....frankly I don't know what you'd gain by removing it for extra work space there's n...

Re: Classic Minis: brake servo or no?

I have one with and one without, can hardly tell the difference, but brake pads make all the difference too - too hard a pad and you really have to stomp on them till the brakes warm up. As most classics don't even do 1000 miles a year, and rarely get driven hard, soft pads are fine. If you plan to ...

Re: rear wiper sprayer 2015

Does it use a different setup on the F56?

Seems like if you hear the pump running but no squirt, it must be stopped up somewhere?

Re: Classic Mini Car Show, Baron Sales/Service event March 6-7, 2020

Great turnout this morning at both BMW and MINI, Isaac says appointments for both sales and service were way up for today - here's hoping they have a banner day!

Thanks, Baron MINI/BMW!

I'll run by, I'm not a coffee drinker, but maybe I can have some hot chocolate?

Tomorrow should be a gorgeous day to be out and about. Anyone who's driving their convertible with the top up should be flogged!

CANCELLED Classic Mini Texas Trip, April 2020

We're gonna do it again! A couple years ago some friends and I travelled down to the Texas Hill country outside of San Antonio for a few days of hooning around the hills in our Classic Minis - a great time was had by all and we only had one small casualty (Buzz bent a support piece in the suspension...

Re: New member here, Facebook must be the main source of activity?

No question Facebook is the more preferred method of contact in our group, although we do try to push people back to the forum for all our club events. another big event this month is the Minis in the Ozarks held in Eureka Springs,, this is not run by our club but it's a huge event and lots of fun. ...
