Just got home from Texas, and I have to say this was one of the most fun runs I've done in awhile, although it did have some travails - most notably the cattle grates - which took out one of Buzz's rear suspension pieces, but we were able to have a new one made and he was up for the run the next day...

The fan relay is sticking, it's not an expensive part and it will probably do it again.

Next time it does, try bumping the fan housing area with your fist, if it stops it's clearly the relay.

Or just buy a relay at the auto parts store, it's a common relay, nothing exotic about it at all.

There's a fuse you can pull too.... The problem is the relay is stuck, you need a new one....on your year it may be mounted on the fan assy itself, however don't confuse it with the resister pack. The intake manifold is fairly easy to remove, you can just take the 5 bolts out and pull it back far enough to see down in there with a flash light.

I would prefer to see the show separate from the All British, although I sure would like to see more participation from the club at the All British Show - after all, MINIs/Minis are British cars!

The lawn at the Nelson would be fab, and I might know someone who could make contact for us.......

Any last minute joiners? We're leaving from KC Sunday March 12, after breakfast. We're going down I-35 to OKC, then I-44 to Wichita Falls to overnight, then straight south to Kerrville where we'll base for the week. The motel is only $49 a night! Weather will be sunny and dry, temps in the mid 70's ...
