Re: STDs installed!

looks pretty good actually! id get a new mount for that side when you get the chance and get some plates or just go IE fixed camber plates or something but it looks very good. far better than mine did when i finally got around to fixing. can you wipe off the dust/dirt that is on there? it looks like...

Re: R53s with underdrive?

this is great information! Thank you all for the feedback. I plan to switch to the colder plugs however I just haven't had time or money. My biggest concern was the adaptability of the computer in these cars. Obviously it is top notch.

Re: STDs installed!

I wouldnt be too worried. My passenger side rubber has been torn for a while. Maybe that is how my MINI got STDs  anyway it isnt too bad. I was worried that you had cracked metal.

Re: Mushrooming, STD's, Fixed Camber Plates

the under mount plates are the best defenders. the IE fixed camber plates are the best option for those who dont plan to race and have the money. I can say from personal experience that the M7 plates do work as I repaired my mounts and installed the plates then went to the wonderful streets of Detro...

the actual body of the car? or just the rubber inside? the rubber can be replaced the body has to be welded and painted.

Re: R53s with underdrive?

By gearing terminology the supercharger would be overdrive and the crank underdrive. Regardless I got a 15% smaller supercharger pulley and it screams! It winds the supercharger up so much faster and it is considerably louder. The pull under acceleration is awesome! now I just need an intake and exh...

R53s with underdrive?

Im curious how many people on here who have R53 MINIs or the supercharged MINIs have underdrive pulleys and how underdriven are you? I just installed my ALTA V2 15% underdrive pulley and love it. I am curious what kind of MPGs everyone is getting with the underdrives and also if spark plugs were cha...

Blue Meanie also has the "as much chrome as possible" package. He's even got chrome scratch guards behind the door handles, and chrome caps for the sprayer nozzles on the hood. If you want to get rid of some of that chrome I will gladly take it off your hands. I actually want to...
