Agreed! Try finding a place to park when you are scheduled to work at the Legends on a Saturday evening that also happens to be a game day. :x

I had briefly considered reaching in the van and tossing the keys behind the shopping carts but decided against it. I've done this before to people leaving their keys (and kids) in the car with a decent record. The old gas station by Shawnee Mission Medical Center a couple times alone. Several cuss...

David--How long are you thinking of leaving ticket sales open? I'm taking new postcards to Baron shortly and was wondering how to best list the game? Maybe a "buy your own ticket" kind of thing or ???

Did you call the police? This is blatant animal cruelty. I have called the police for similar situations before--once in OP and once in Leawood. Both times I was told they would check on it, but it was a very low priority. Going inside the store and having the car owner paged was my option. I'm hop...

Why do people leave their dogs in the car to go grocery shopping when it's 90 degrees out?!? The OBC in the MINI said it was 93 this afternoon when I was at Whole Foods. I parked near a BMW X5 with a beautiful Irish Setter (lots o'hair) panting and struggling to breathe thru the 1" open...

The Z club has once again extend an invite for us to join in their fun! Here are the details from Dan: This is short notice. The July Zocial will be held next Saturday, July 19 at one of our favorite places-Tanner's at 143rd & Metcalf. This month, we're putting a different twist on things. From ...

Peanut butter... I'll have to remember that one. I used the oil that floats on top of the all natural PB when I had the stock black trim. It works well with a q-tip or the fancy little foam things that are like q-tips only...well, foamy. Those come from Griot's Garage or you can buy them at Complet...

I'm very leary of doing anything with the CVT, even a fluid change. I think for that reason alone, I'll take it to Baron. While I have had no problems, the CVT has a bad reputation. It's probably a good idea to have them do it this time and start reading up before next time. I should have been a lit...

I'm out of warranty in both years and miles. I think they said Inspection 2 is around 60,000 miles but is performance based or something like that. I'm beyond 60,000 and am not quite to the "0" point but will be soon.

I like kabootist's idea of editing the list for what I've already done or can do and then seeing what that leaves me with. The list is pretty extensive and includes transmission fluid change for the CVT transmission so I probably better take it in.

Inspection 2?

My little blinky number in the dash is getting low (400-ish) so I called the dealer to find out what I'm due for, since I just had the oil changed in April. Seems it's time for Inspection 2, which is $650. Anyone got any thoughts on the value of this service? Among the things mentioned to me were th...

Dave, you might want to put the meeting spot and info up on the first post so it is easily found. Also, I think Stephanie mentioned she is out now so you can take her name off the list.
I've also updated the info on the calendar in case anyone looks there for details. :)

I'm headed south instead of joining the Northlanders. Y'all have fun!
