I went ahead and ordered that package. I have heard good things about the H&R springs and I have a ALTA swaybar on my 05 that I have been happy with. I do not think I would have paid full price but at 50% off I think it was a good deal.

I need to upgrade the stock suspension on the clubman and Alta is having a sale right now. I am thinking of getting this package which should make for nice ride and better handeling. I would love the JCW suspension but I am afraid it would be much more expensive.

From what I have read on the various MINI sites, it seems that the fix only works part of the time. There have been a number of owners report that the chatter came back after the fix. Baron replaced the tensioner on mine about 3 weeks ago and so far so good.

I like it better than the hardtop. IF they keep the price around the same as the convertible this will probably be our next car.

If I can get off early we will be there.

I think somewhere on the east side on I-70 would be the best to meet up. Noland Rd has a wide selection of places to get gas and food. If we want to meet farther east, Woods Chapel Rd or 7-hwy in Blue Springs also have convenient places to gas and get food. Anyone have a preference?

I am figuring it will take a little more than 3 hours from Lees Summit Rd & i70 to the meeting spot. Does anyone want to meet up and caravan there?

They replaced the windshield and took care of a piece that broke off the passenger assist handle. I just have to take it back on Wednesday so they can tint it.

I am sort of diggin it. I have liked it from the first time I saw the concept pics. I for one hope they lose the double doors. Wonder if the A-pillar moldings work differently on the Gen II cars? Seems those were a real problem on the 1st Gen cars when the windshields were replaced....... I hope they have fixed that problem. I spent $70 buying the molding that runs the length of the roof just to get the little 3" piec...

This has always been a good drive in the past and we are looking forward to it again this year!

The Binswanger here used to be a Harding Glass. As Harding they had done all of my parents glass work for years and since Binswanger bought them we have had 4 windshields put in various vehicles without a single problem. The I70 commute has been a killer on windshields.
