We went there last year for my birthday, we even found a nice little motel (The Roadrunner Inn) that accepts dogs (the owner usually has five of his own wandering around the property) and the drive to Eureka sp...

After some discussion, I decided to go as a Novice again. You're not required to have an instructor ride along in your second tour as a novice, but they are available - so it's the cheapest instruction you can buy. And they don't exactly hold me back speed wise - I was pedalling as fast as I could g...

I like hanging out at the track, and it gives me time to re-torque my wheels and check things over in general on my car before I hit the tech inspection line. You need to be th...

Well, there were a lot of MINI's in the parking lot, sometimes it's hard to tell the customers from the trade-ins from the used cars...........long answer, no. But she may have been parked over in the service area. I was only cruising thru the used car lot area. What's the matter with poor Ruska? An...

Well, they certainly could be edited, no doubt. For length if nothing else! I don't expect people who weren't there to sit in rapt attention while we motor around, but for those who might be interested, it's a good example of what to expect on track and from their instructors. Note - I don't think m...

It was the first time I've done any in-car footage on the track. Have to get the wind noise issue resolved, I tried a piece of tape over the mic on the last session. Yes, I did get a lot of in car commentary..........a little of it was even directed at you! But in a good natured and informativ...

Exactly.

I have one of those extra long garages, I could keep 2 Minis where my Jag is now.....

Years ago, I kept my first Mini in one of those metal garden sheds, it was 10 ft deep and 8 ft wide, fit perfectly and I could still get the doors closed!

Just got an email from my friend with the red Traveler, I may try to buy it, it sounds really tasty...........

dimini, I'd think a Traveler would be just the ticket for you too, more room inside, able to carry pretty much anything the trucklet can and so on...........
