I'm hoping to have details on available dates for a detailing clinic with a pro...hopefully we'll know something early this week. If no one is opposed and there is an April date available, perhaps this could become our April meet??
If you need something quick/local, you might try Back to Black. I used it with good results when I had unpainted wheel arches. I also used peanut butter (or even better, the oil that separates onto the top) on a Q-tip to get nasty white wax marks off. Now I've switched to a wax that doesn't leave th...
Detailing clinic? What would that entail? (Asks the girl who hasn't washed her Mini in the last couple weeks. ) It could entail instruction on the areas that interest you most...whether that be proper upholstery care & cleaning, how to keep black trim black, where to start when you car n...
Would anyone be interested in a detailing clinic at an auto detail shop? I have a contact for a shop in Merriam (one that specializes in high-end rides) and could see what dates are available as well as cost if there is interest.

Good to hear! Several have also attempted to drive interest in autocrossing as an additional venue to get these cars out to do what they're made to do :D http://forums.kcminiclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=1066&highlight= I know there is interest among club members to learn more about autocrossing. Wo...

Spotted a CR MC with boot stripes (maybe bonnet, too...I was behind it and couldn't tell) at 75th and Metcalf, 5 PMish. I think the plate was GUTARST and there was an Italian Job sticker on the right rear window. Another large sticker on the boot might have been a silhouette of Elvis?
I thought so, too...but taste free would have been welcome! The chocolate fat free pudding cups had this nasty taste that was like diet soda, mold, sour cream and chocolate syrup mixed together. And to top it off, it was the kind of taste that lingers. Ick.
Last night spotted a MC, silver, headed East on 135th near Pflumm with Ontario plates. I didn't try to wave since I was driving the Box. :) I hear ya on the wave, sliboa. I waved at someone in Liberty last week (we were in the same parking lot) and she gave me the most incredulous look, followed by ...
We'll be there, in the MINI. I may need to leave earlier to be there on the official first day (I have a bit of work to do there) but we plan to stay beyond MOTD for some safer sightseeing. So we're in....two people, one MINI and one MiniMutt. For anyone looking for info, check out www.minison...
I like the popsicle store (Palleteria (sp?) Tropicana) down the block but haven't eaten at La Fonda yet. I'm still searching for Mexican food on the Blvd. that I like.
Em is right, sweats or PJs are fine. In past years, we've seen everything from jeans and Ts to folks headed to work in suits. It's an "anything goes" environment. And you don't have to come right at 6--anytime between 6 and 9 works.
