Reason #1. Cost. I checked into renting Heartland Park earlier this year and the price was thousands up on thousands of dollars. I can't imagine Kansas Speedway being any cheaper.

Who knows, maybe K.S. will have a touring club group like H.P. does.

I'm still waiting for the official flyer but I do know this much..... *The starting point both days will be Lawrence, KS. close to the airport right off US 24.. *Saturday's route will be mostly Missouri with a finish line of Weston. *Sunday's route will be all/mostly Kansas with a finish line of Law...

Reading the website closer, it appears they depend on the "subscribers" to post the info. It's a good basis to start with.

I don't know what free time you will have but if you have a chance, shoot over to Bentonville and tour the Crystal Bridges Art Museum. Although the art is phemonenal, it is worth the trip just to see the building itself.
