Questions are: 1) Any crazy Mini/BMW tool requirements? 2) Any gotchas, things to watch out for? 3) Anything else I should be doing while I'm in there? Taz only has 24k miles, but upgrading to OS ...

Not Todd's but seems to be an equally cared for GP. Looks like they are wanting $22k for it...56k miles. If I only had more money

I know Todd (guy who does stripes at Baron) was on the list. He has (had) a GP already.

Don't know...before my time :-) Baron is listed as a current sponsor and they worked on the car trying to figure out why it was cutting power.

Re: MINI on Two

Scroll to the bottom of the mokan forums and there is a Google calendar with all the dates. Craig got this mini late last year since the other one was experiencing power cut issues at full tilt...literally it was detecting ice mode when he went hard around corners. He's not all that happy with this ...

Cross drilled and slotted is more for looks than performance. Fine if that looks are your goal. Suspension...its easy to go too far and end up with a ride your not happy with. Stereo...if you spend lots of time in the car its a worthy upgrade. Its your car, so do what will give you the most smiles p...

Downpipe install

Need advice...picked up an AR Design downpipe for the JCW Coupe, but hit an install issue. As you can see in the picture (may need to scroll) there is little/to no clearance on the lower rear studs/nuts. I had to switch from the OEM flange nuts to just get them started on the studs. dp1.jpg Talking ...

Koni yellows with NM springs, SS brake lines, strut bar, short shifter + NM cover. Taz was very good this year :D Few other items (Downpipe, camber plates, sway bar + end links) to order Taz. Those will be for Kansas Day, Valentines Day, and St. Patricks Day respectively ;) Once it warms up I will s...

Re: Carboned Up Intake Valves

Standard street setup is after the intercooler in the plastic intake pipe that connects (eventually) to the throttle body. I've read about racing setups that did both before and after turbo.
