Thanks for adding me! I've been in a MINI group on Facebook for a while now, it finally occurred to me to look and see if there was a MINI group right here in KC. Duh! Sounds like I've missed some fun events, can't wait to start joining in!

Bought my first MINI a couple years ago, a 2005 cabrio. Recently upgraded to a 2007 S cabrio, same color (Hot Orange Metallic). LOVE LOVE LOVE. Can't see myself ever going back to a pickup or SUV!

Our next event is at the end of this month, we'll be heading to Lawrence for a meet and eat, then maybe a cruise around Clinton Lake.

There's also the MINIs in the Ozarks coming up at the end of October with the AMOK group - it's a fantastic event you should try to make.

Just south of Lawrence and just east of US 59 is a park with an observation tower. It gives you a pretty cool view of Lawrence and the Kaw valley.
