mouse nest

Post by kgreen66 »

Awful smell in my car this morning. Felt lead to check the cabin air filter and found a mouse's nest and four dead mice sitting on top of it. Ain't that nice.

That seems to be a favorite place for them to nest, I'm told if you hit the "recirculate" button before you shut off the engine it closes off the outside vents and they can't get in.

I found a chipmunk nest in my car above the cabin filter the first spring I had it, I still don't know where the white, fluffy nesting material came from....

Dave,

Thanks so much for that tip! Definitely going to do that. That's why I shared my experience: to help others and receive feedback.
