Doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it, inquiring about buying it as the price is great but then it dawned on me that it potentially might be stolen as the price is too great. If it isn't a scam or stolen I may buy the car but I wanted to see what you all thought.

Something is amiss at the Circle K. It is listed as an 07 and is clearly not an 07. Salvage title maybe?

My thought is that he doesn't know his cars that well or made a typo when he posted it. Which sort of makes me think either it is a scam or he didn't realize he typed 2007, or he thinks since the R52 was still built to 2008 that this car is a 2007. All things are possible. The title is supposedly clean but if he gets back to me with the VIN I can send that to Baron and be absolutely certain. The fact it is only the backside makes me sort of think it might be a scam. I was even checking the reflection of the house and the sunlight to see what time of day it was taken and have been searching online for Cooper S Checkmate to see if the photograph pops up on NAM or some other Mini site. So far, nothing. The blurred license plate looks like a personalized Kansas plate.

I posted it on the forum just in case the car is stolen. Someone on here might see it.

Scam.

You see these on CL all the time, don't waste your time with it.

I have a friend (an older gentleman who knows better) who got taken in by one of these, cost him $3K......

Figured that out when the ad was also in a town in Iowa and was flagged.

I and a friend called the guy and it went to voicemail. Nothing further came of it. I left a message initially hoping for a response but now reaalize it was a scam.
