Wheel Studs

Post by Zack »

Was thinking this over and thinking I may want to switch from the wheel bolts to wheel studs so that I can use regular lug nuts. Would be easier when swapping off wheels and supposedly will be less wear and tear on the hubs. Any thoughts? I know there was a thread about this a while back but dunno what my options would be for my car.

I have two of the fancy guides that you can screw into the hub. Honestly, I don't know why you need it unless you are a 90 year old little lady who has trouble lifting the wheels (not you Zack) :D

Has nothing to do with trying to align the wheels bolts. Has more to do with not wanting to wear out the wheel bolts or strip the threads.
