Wheels and Tire

Post by Mini4ever »

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a 2013 MCS hardtop that came with 16" tires and I really want a more aggressive look. The question is do I go 17" or 18"?

Also, what are your thoughts/advice on buying new tires and wheels off-market at say Tirerack.com vs. having Baron do it for me? Baron will allow me a small amount for my wheels and tires, but am wondering if I should try to sell my current ones on my own. Less than 1,000 miles on Continental run-flats.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm cross-eyed after trying to review this on the web!!

I would recommend the 17" option, it gives the look you're after without the punishing ride of the 18's....

I'd keep your wheels/tires and either sell them on Craigslist, or one of the forums. Or, you might consider putting non-runflat summer only tires on your new wheels and keep the others for winter.
