I am not the expert on this, but I know that if we forget our password the admins cannot retrieve it. I do no think you can actually change your username and keep the same account. I think you will have to create a new account.

What toeknee said is accurate, your screen name cannot be changed. You are welcome to create a new account with a different screen name though. Maybe you could do that and in your signature line include your previous screen name.

Yeh, like the MINIAC formerly known as.......or you could be like Prince and change your name to a symbol :) Your right though, counterfit doesn't seem appropriate when you have two Mini's. It would be sad to lose all your little MINI's that your build by doing more post.

Yeah it's taken me like 3 or 4 years to build up my post count on here. LOL Might keep the screen name. I've got both the Mini's listed in my sig. :)

I have screen name changes disabled on here partly for security and partly to avoid confusion on everyone else's part...

But if you're completely desperate to change it, I can always try working Voodoo directly on the database itself to affect a name change that won't make you lose your count or anything else. Send me a private message with the dirty details and I'll see what I can do :)

As an admin you can just directly edit somebodies profile via the ACP and change their username. No need to do direct database edits.
