1995 BMW M3

So I finally got the car shipped up to KC. I used a private company that only has a handful of trucks. (just a note: using private shippers will usually result in a much faster and cheaper experience).

I'll also mention that I am the youngest member of the club. I am 17. This car is a family friend's who is an officer in the Navy. Unfortunately he is stationed in Japan for another two years. The car was just sitting at a base. My brother and I are fixing it up for him. But since my brother is a in the Air Force on deployment right now, I am working on it myself. Our friend is allowing me to care for the car and fix it up. This is a great deal because he doesn't have to pay labor.

The things in line for the car to be replaced/done:

Inspection II - included oil change, spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid, diff. fluid, tranny fluid, belts, fuel filter
Brakes - All new all around
Water Pump
Thermostat Housing
Radiator Hoses
Heater hoses
Turner Motorsports Solid Differential Mounts
Powerflex RTABs
Powerflex FCABs
A few more solid or urethane bushings
Front Control Arms
Tie Rod Assemblies
Lowering Springs
Rear Shock Mounts
Stainless Brake Lines
Sway Bar Links
Turner Motorsport Shorty Headers
Turner Motosport Conforti Chip

The driver side front suspension is almost done. The struts are comming in from Tire Rack soon along with the springs.

The car however will not start. I put fresh fuel in (the car came empty) and the battery was just charged up. Any thoughts would be great. I know this is a MINI forum but I know there is some expertise within the club.

If anybody is interested in helping I would be willing to set up a garage day that would be centered around the M3. It's a great way to learn and to help out a great cause.

KC BMW club has several garage days throughout the year, however you would have to get it there. You might check out KCBMW.org and ask questions there or BIMMERFORUMS.
