2012 Monthly Cruise-in Schedule

OK, Spring is fast approaching and time to get our schedule set up for our monthly cruise-ins!

Volunteers are needed to coordinate an event for each month. As volunteers step up, we'll capture the names here and post the official invitation in the Announcements folder when we get a date established.

Check out the Announcement folders for previous events and locations.

Step right up!

March 15: DA MINI aka Country Bob aka Bob - Sonic at I-435 & Roe
April 19: ragtopday, aka Johnna - Sonic in Liberty -- details on Announcements and Facebook.
May: Several events planned for the month. No cruise-in needed, unless someone has the urge to plan one.
June 14: minidave, aka Dave - Culvers - 135th & Antioch
July 12: S-car-go, aka Kirk - Sonic at Legends
August 25: Counterfit Mini, aka Stephanie - Queen Lizzy's in Lawrence

I left March off the list, but that doesn't mean we can't have a March event if someone wants to take that on.

Yes, not a lot of March left, but if someone has Spring Fever and wants to plan an event...go for it!

I'm not sure the history of how Thursday nights came to be the preferred night for these cruise-ins. But it works for me and we seem to get pretty good turnouts.

If we need to re-examine that practice, I guess now's the time!

Keep in mind that May 19 is the CIMC-KCME joint drive.

We'll be doing a Sonic cruise-in in Bethany, MO to start off the day!

Great point -- in fact May is already quite booked up with great events!

May 5 is both the MINI Cooper Rally at the Richmond Mushroom Festival and the Ft Leavenworth Historic Homes Tour.
May 10-12 is MINIs Occupy Branson that I know several club members are attending.
May 19 is KCME/CIMC joint drive -- an official club event.
May 26 is Memorial Day weekend!

Now with all that excitement -- it doesn't necessarily rule out a Thursday night cruise-in. If someone wants to coordinate a Thursday night event, May 24 (before Memorial weekend) or May 31 would be potentials.
