I'm thinking about the theme. Quite a few consider racing drivers American heroes. And it is Independence Day not Memorial Day. The car is already covered in British flags. I could just attach another American flag to the antenna again, assuming it can attach to a stubby antenna.

If you want I will bring an American flag on a pole and fly it through the sunroof.

What might be cool is get a red mini, a white mini, and a blue mini all on a row at the front of the group for the parade. Somewhat patriotic even with British cars.

The Reef Blue in the Hampton is darker than Navy Blue but I can be the blue in the theme if it fits the bill.

July 1st reminder:

The parade begins at 10:00 am (ish) and we meet up at 63rd Street and Hwy 9 (the street behind The shopping complex where Price Chopper is located) and ends in Historic Downtown Parkville. Please plan on getting to the staging area by 9:00 am. Set your GPS to 6300 NW Bell Road, Parkville, Mo 64152. I will be in the Hyper Blue MINI with the blue wheels.

Things you might need:
detail kit
decorations for your MINI
tape or other fasteners
sun block
water

Remember:
1. No Candy throwing
2. You must not get out of your vehicle while the parade is in progress (fans are not allowed to run up to the cars either)

Thank you for spending your morning with us. See ya on the 4th!!

A National Guardsmen friend of mine will be with me in uniform for the parade and I will be bringing my American Flag to fly through the sunroof.
