(CANCELED) MINI PHOTOSHOOT - JUNE 29 - LAWRENCE, KS

We are going to do the photoshoot. It will be in Lawrence this time just for a change of pace and because I can't afford to drive to KC right now. Plan on meeting on the top deck of the parking garage on New Hampshire Street (It's usually open). From there we will go to a few key places around town to take some cool photos.

UPDATE: WE ARE MEETING AT 3:00PM this Saturday at the Old Steve's Place/Printing Solutions off 31st and Louisiana Street. I don't have the specific address, but you should be able to see a farmhouse up a long driveway. There is enough room there to pull in and wait for everyone. I am friends with the people that live in the house. Figure this would be a good location as it is in the countryside where some cool pictures can be done. We will also caravan into town and look for some photo opportunities there as well. Anyone ok with this??

Allen Fieldhouse (dunno how we can make this one work).
Clinton Lake (The Dam portion).
Memorial Drive (near the Campinile)

There is also a nice twisty road south of town that we can go drive on for some kicks.
There are a few wide streets in the Old West Lawrence Historic District that would be cool to park along as not many cars park on some of these streets.
If only we could find some parking on Mass Street massive enough to park everyone along it. If anyone has connections with some local government people in town get in touch with them if you wish.

I hope a few of you are great photographers. I'm thinking this will be a lot of fun.

Get in touch with me as soon as you can and I will put you down on the list. Plan to arrive in Lawrence at 10am. We will break for lunch as well if everyone wants.

Should take pictures next to the concrete teepees just north of Lawrence off of 40 highway.

That's one place I'm considering. I have friends with a house overlooking wetlands that said we could photo the cars on the grass next to the tall grass wetlands. Also there is an overlook south of their house that has a cool inclined road that could be a cool photo op. so far no one has said whether they are coming or not.
