I updated the first post in this thread with the RSVP list. We're at 22 Minis/MINIs and 36 Miniacs, plus a hand-full of Maybes.

Would you Maybe folks do me a favor and check back in by Thursday or so with a yes or no, please? I want to make sure I have enough copies of the route for everyone.

Excited to see everyone and have some of KC's best donuts!

Ha! I can't ever make Thursday night events because that's when we record the podcast. And I seem to be traveling whenever there's a weekend event. So it will be good to see everyone again!

Just got off the phone with MINI USA. They are sending me some info cards to give out regarding MTTS. I will bring them with me on Saturday so if you're interested in MTTS this year, look for me. Pretty sure I'll be the only one there with a 2006 GP.

Just a reminder folks, please bring CA$H on Saturday. Old school donut shops aren't super accommodating about new fangled credit and debit cards.

If you have a two-way radio, feel free to bring it. Davester will be in charge of telling you which channel will be used. If you don't have a two-way radio, no worries. Just follow the printed route or the car in front of you.

Because there are different types of two-way radios--those with sub stations and those without-- lets just use channel 7. If you tend to get lost or do not have a GPS, a two-way may come in handy. This will be an epic event so get there early and buy often.

I will be away from my computer tomorrow, so this is the last update before Saturday's Tour de Donut:

1. Please bring CA$H for donuts. Several of the shops don't accept cards.

2. Got a two way radio? Feel free to bring it. Set it to channel 7. You can radio check with Davester when you arrive. Red Coupe, S DEUCE plates.

3. Want to wear a name tag so you can put a face with the name? Blugoose (Frank) will have stick on name tags and a marker. You can probably find him near Davester.

4. Please find me on Saturday morning to get your route info and sign the liability waiver. You don't want to be responsible for me, please sign it.
