Saw this one the other day too...

Little Natalie Portman was great in this, and this was the first movie where I ever paid attention to Jean Reno, who I really like as well.........good flick!

Sorry...........try this

I go out, I work my butt off to make a living, all I want is to come home to a nice clean house with a nice fat steak on the table, but instead I get this. It looks like poison.

Don't you take that away, I'm eating that, damn it. It is poison, isn't it?

I swear to God I would not be surprised if it was, the way you skulk around here like a dog that's been hit too much or ain't been hit enough, I can't make up my mind. You're useless, Beatrice. The only thing that pulls its weight around here is my goddamn truck.

Okay kids, here's one for ya.......

ER Doctor: And, to answer your question, there are two reasons why I'm looking at you like this. One because it seems in a few minutes you will officially be the only survivor of this train wreck, and two, because you didn't break one bone, you don't have a scratch on you.

I guess it was too easy, or I wouldn't have gotten it. :)

OK - two from the same movie:

"It is better to help people than garden gnomes."

"I am nobody's little weasel."

I didn't mean anything by that! I just thought the movie was not very well known and thought that most wouldn't have seen it. The quote I picked was kind of a give away even if you didn't know anything about the movie. I myself like the movie.

Laurie, I wasn't being critical at all - I was just saying I don't know much and got it anyway. :)

Marlow - you are so right, in both your answer and your judgement. The movie is utterly charming. Your turn.

I think it was by a man named Ramón Sampedro... and the movie was either Condenado a Vivir or The Seaside Inn?

My daughter's friend from Spain talks about this movie sometimes. A guy who was a quadripalegic and he wanted to commit sucide but wasn't allowed. The girls really like the human spirit-side of the movie. Frankly, it's not my cup of tea but to eack their own... :)

I am amazed I remembered it.

YEah, I knew that. Also, the original did not have lens cover over the headlights. Just quoting the movie for fun.

Ronin

A great movie BTW, if you haven't seen it - definitely worth the rental fee!

Two of my favorite actors in that, Bob DeNiro and Jean Reno
