Open to suggestions, we've done Ted's Montana a couple of times, Arthur Bryants, Culvers, Granite City ............all we want is a place we can all sit down and get a decent meal, since it's after 8 pm when we're done, and we still have an hour's drive home or more.

I was getting worried a few days ago, they had rain forcasted for the afternoon, now it looks like just cloud cover with a very slight chance of rain...Arthur Bryants still the meeting place? @ 1PM....just verifying and also for ease of finding it for everyone else!

All righty then! I'm ready to go to the track...............

I've got my "track" tires on and aired up. I had to rotate things around a bit to get some decent tread on the right front, 2 of my tires are well into the wearbars now!

I set my sway bar to its stiffest setting.........

Got my video camera mounted and the battery fully charged........

(Kabootist, I have your code reader with me too)

All fluids topped up including me!

Looking for a fun day - the weather's just supposed to be cloudy, no rain in the forecast according to the Weather Underground so it shouldn't be too hot. It will be a short day tho, I'm only expecting 3 runs today, so make them all count! See youse guys at A.Bryants at 1:00PM.......

What a disappointment! Especially since when I got home it was dry as a bone!

Rained out. If they do reschedule, someone be sure to post it so we can go again, OK?

Otherwise, we can either use it for one of next year's Touring Laps days or I'm going to use part of mine to pay for my SCCA Runoffs tickets next month.

FYI: the guy in the Ferrari 430 was going to be in the novice class. I guess it was his first time to the track. The viper owner was going to be his instructor and posted on another website about it. Nice to hear he knew he was "novice" no matter how much money he spent on a car.

I wanted to see that thing run either way, damn!

EDIT: I also demand Dave to post the rolling shots he took (or tried to take) on the freeway. Yea, I said demand!!!

Cool pics, Dave. I like that silk green MINI! What a bummer that we got rained out. I'm going to have to do something else to get my fix on the track. I don't think I can wait till next spring.
