I took some pictures of the two MINIs together. I know that the Clubman is not that much longer than the hatch but when I washed it the difference sure seemed more :D

That 9 inches makes a huge difference in the available space and it still drives like a MINI. We have made a grocery trip and a visit to the hardware store and that extra space makes it much easier to fit the food in without squashing the bread!
