It was a great turnout, and thanks to everyone who came. Some drove a long way to get there and some fought nasty evening traffic, I certainly appreciate their efforts. I hope everyone had a good time and I'll see you all at the next one!

I have noticed that with the windows down the exhaust sounds pretty good, but with them up, again I can't hear it - it's too quiet in there! I guess I need to drive around behind some buildings or something where I can hear the sounds reflect off the walls......

Have you payed attention to my exhaust Dave? Granted it's a JCW system, but all I did was cut out the resonator (which evidently doesn't cut out resonance) and it resulted in a nice sporty sound that isn't annoying whatsover, and only really heard at cold starts, or spirited "boosted" throttles. For $40 at any exhaust shop, I recommend it to ANYONE looking to get a little more audible fun from their car without spending $800+ for a new system. I know Dave yer not one to spend that kinda money unless it's mandatory for a mod, lol.

I remember seeing a cartoon many years ago in MAD magazine (yes, I did read it - when I was a kid! ) that showed an alley with mirrors down both sides and admission sign that said $5 "See How Great You Look in Your Car!" - people could drive their cars thru and see what they looked like in them. It was done as a joke, but I've always thought people would probably pay to do exactly that, especially in car crazy cities like LA. I think I would attach to a high end car wash or something.....
