Did you know this was on the Hoops & YoYo CD? I love Hoops & YoYo (Piddles, too) almost as much as donuts. I may have loved them even more than donuts until they made an appearance at the opening of a (gasp!) CHAIN donut shop. Yep, they sold out.
Johnna--BMPR CR '05 Chili Red JustaCVT, JCW Sound Kit #D344, JCW BBK, aFe cai, M7 Under Strut System, strut tower plates, Sparkly wheel arches, a little chrome. Garage-sharing w/ '12 Goodwood MCS #372, '06 MCS "Jack" and MiniX4's classic, Moxie.

Update: A friend wants to join us -- so we now are at '3 donut eaters, 1 MINI'.

Very excited for the event -- hope the weather cooperates for a nice morning.
Friend backed out -- down to 1 MINI and 2 donut eaters.

Well, I'd have to say that was an unqualified success! Looks like we MINI folk do like our donuts!

Thanks to Johnna for sharing some of her secret donut specialists with the hoi polloi and for organizing a fun (if early) morning!

Great to see all the familiar MINIs and MINI drivers, and even more fun to meet some new folks too!

once I recover from my sugar induced coma - and my color perception returns to normal, I'll post some of the images that I took.

again, Thanks Johnna for organizing the drive and having prizes to hand out!

I put away 6 donuts and I don't think I want to see another one for at least 24 hours!

Here's my images: http://picasaweb.google.com/clarkbishton/MiniDay# uncorrected, unedited, unanything

My blood sugar is crashing. I don't have the energy to do anything but put them out there.

However, when I do recover, I will lift a toast of unsweetened tea to Johnna.....what a great trip!

What a fun event! Thanks to Johnna for putting this together. Don't know which were better, the apple fritters at John's Space Age Donuts or the red velvet donuts at Ridgewood. It was great to see everyone!

I have posted my photos from the day at http://etdugan.smugmug.com/MINI/Tour-de-Donut-2010.
