It's Checkoslavakian engineered and made, it runs a 2.5 L air cooled hemi V-8 in the rear!

No, it's their own unique design, developed in the 30's, and used in various forms right up until they went out of business in the late 90's. One of the cars driven on the rally was a 1947 version, and one was a 96', and while the new engine had overhead cams and fuel injection (and 4.3 L vs the 2.5 in this car) it was still basically the same design.
