KC MINI PHOTOSHOOT AT THE NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM

Official notice (since it's posted further down) Mark Zimmerman (executive office of the Nelson) has approved our photoshoot. The Museum Security has been informed as well so that we don't have any issues.
Time: 10am to ?
Location: Nelson-Atkins Museum front drive
Day: Saturday, April 21st
Weather forecast: 61 to 66 and sunny
Bring: your Mini (of course), camera. Family if desired.
(I am thinking of scheduling a lunch pit stop. There is a Winsteads nearby, or other locations on the Plaza or we can all eat at the Museum. Would mean parking in the garage I think and that is $5.)
Other photo locations are planned providing we have time. Those include but are not limited to, Liberty Memorial, Union Station, The Crossroads, The West Bottoms, KC Public Library.

I'll be there in Artemis with my sister and nephew. My sister will have her nice camera and will be taking pictures.

Out of fear of possibly being tossed from the front of the Nelson, does anyone have another location that we could meet at before hand if the Nelson isn't a good place to start. I will email the director there to check and see if it's ok. We should only be photographing there for twenty ish minutes and then move on to another location. Might want to plan a lunch stop during the fun.

Other location choices I can think of:
Liberty Memorial
Kemper Arena
top deck of Plaza Parking Garage on 47th street across from Barnes and Noble.

Ok Official approval from Mark Zimmerman at the Executive office of the Nelson. He gave us the go ahead for the photo thing and has notified Museum Security that we will be there and to assist us if needed (i.e. asking people to step out of the pictures). Looks like we are good to go.

Might have a photography student or two from KU interested in coming out to photograph the MINI's. I'd like to know who all is coming. Sort of set up a roster.

Not a bad turnout so far. Looks like it's going to be just five at the moment but I encourage everyone who didn't let me know in advance to just show up. It will be fun.
