Ready to go for tomorrow. I have an American flag on a pole if anyone wants to ride with me in the parade and hold it through the sunroof. Otherwise, it's all British for me tomorrow, lol.
What time is best for us to get there? I am driving from Lawrence and want to make sure I'm there on time.

Re: Parkville 4th of July Parade
Hello,
Happy 3rd of July ...(or get your MINI polished up day)
I just received confirmation, we are #23 in the parade line up. The line up for the parade starts at 9:00 am and the parade starts at !0:00 amish....
It is going to be a little warm out tomorrow, so you might want to bring a hat, some sun block, water and a chair or two so we can pass the time away before
we start out.
Set your GPS to 6300 NW Bell Road, Parkville, MO 64152, you will see all the entrants.
Thanks for coming out an participating!!!

Is it ok that the MINI won't be decorated? I could go get a few small american flags to stick on him but money is short right now.

No worries Zack ... Decorating your MINI is optional. Mine will not be decorated either, but mine is already blue, white & red You & your Union Jack will be fine. See you tomorrow.Zackattack28 wrote:Is it ok that the MINI won't be decorated? I could go get a few small american flags to stick on him but money is short right now.

Maybe while we wait I can put on my new JCW grill trim if it doesn't take too long. Heading to bed soon so I can wake up and wash Artemis before the parade.

Re: Parkville 4th of July Parade
A big thanks to everyone that spent their morning in Parkville in the heat!! There were a lot of positive comments from the crowd as we drove down the street. Extra Kudos to Cheeky (who brought his owners up from Warrensburg) and to Zack for driving in from Lawerence.
Max had the best dressed MINI ( rocket ship).
I will load my few pictures, in a bit... once I figure out how to get them moved over from my phone.
Thanks again!

It was fun being in the parade. We need more to come out next year. And Yes, Nancy (my loving wife) is responsible for all the creativity with my MINI. (watch out for the upcoming Baron Halloween party).
