If you find yourself over on the easterly side of Missouri, take a run down Missouri 19, it actually starts clear up off of I-70, just a few miles east of Columbia and runs all the way south to Arkansas. The road is smooth, lightly traveled and swoops and turns and twists all the way down, it's a terrific run!
The best parts start just south of Steelville tho....south of Winona you'll hit a series of roller coaster hills that take your breath away!

Re: Missouri 19
A little further east is Route B from Warrenton south to 94 that is a similar road that we took last night to avoid I-70 Thanksgiving traffic. But we did it in a Ford F150 pulling a 26ft travel trailer! Talk about white knuckle driving!
