Wet seat belt

Whenever it rains or snows my driver side seat belt gets wet. If it is really cold, it freezes. Does anybody know what might cause this?

A water leak?

If you have a sunroof, then the best bet is that your sunroof drain tubes are clogged, probably the left front one. This is a common occurance on pretty much any car with a sunroof.

If you don't have a sunroof, then I'd be looking at a window not closing all the way or a bad window seal.

Yep. Sunroof. Now the big question. How do I unclog the drains?

Carefully.......

Some have found that using a length of plastic, like that used on a weed whacker, works pretty well. Some have used compressed air, but whatever you use you run the risk of pushing the end of the tube off the nipple, and making it worse. Lesson here is be careful......

If you open the sunroof you should see the drains up in the front corners.

I found some debris by the drain. It's cleared out but I won't know anything until this weekend when the weather turns bad.

It's probably clogged down in the tube, take a small bottle of water and pour it slowly where the tube opening is and see if it flows freely, then you'll know.
