Possible issue with transmission
Possible issue with transmission
For some reason my clutch and shifter don't feel right to me in recent days. The clutch feels harder to engage and the first few gears seem almost to crunch when they engage and the car feels underpowered during those shifts. Thoughts? Comments? Snide remarks?

Re: Possible issue with transmission
Well I think I narrowed the loss of power issue to an air filter needing cleaning. Cleaned and re oiled that solved one problem. I think I should actually replace the tranny fluid to be safe.
EDIT: I hadn't changed the tranny fluid since autocrossing last year. Some people confirmed to me that this is probably the issue. Easy fix, no need for a new clutch or slave cylinder.
