Anybody done the front/rear swap for the stock/base R56 speaker setup?

This appears to still be valid, and a useful free "upgrade". But was curious if anybody locally has done it?
TLDR Version: Swapping the rear and front channels improves sound quite a bit due to the cut-off setting the rear line has in the R56.

My friend in CO did it and he swears by it. I added a flush mounted sub woofer so I have some bass .

Are you running the stock base 6 speaker setup w/ the flush sub? What did you go with for that setup? My 06 MINI had the HK upgrade, really wish my '12 did...miss it.
Technically I have an old-ish Xtant/MTX setup but it is way overkill for the car (500x1 class D and a single 12" in a sealed box).

Yes, I have the standard stereo / speakers. The reviews of the 08 upgrade weren't good. However, I do wish I upgraded because these speakers suck. If you figure it out and it works, show me how to do it!! LOLkenshin138 wrote:Are you running the stock base 6 speaker setup w/ the flush sub? What did you go with for that setup?
