Old Marais River Run car show Sep 20-21
Don't know if anybody has ever been to this show down in Ottawa, but I went last year and it was really cool. They cut off the entries at 1972 model year. I saw everything to from horseless carriages to hot rods. Last year had almost 2000 cars registered for the show. It's located in Forest Park in Ottawa. At least last year, non car show cars had to park outside the park and walk in, but it was like maybe a 5 minute walk to get in. My favorite car was the last of the V8 interceptors, a genuine Aussie Falcon done up like Mad Max's car. There was also a vendor midway. I had a really hard walking past the Miller Welding tent without buying that plasma cutter I really really want. Website: http://www.olmarais.com/.
