I agree completely, Ronin is a great movie, and a great car chase right in the middle to boot!

Your quote has to be from "To Kill a Mockingbird"

I would say it has to be To Kill a Mockingbird as well. I am feeling to impatient to wait for his answer, so here is one for you guys to chew on.

Darn it, I knew that line but I couldn't place it as being from The Mexican! I'm not very good at movies, so this is the closest I've gotten.

Benjamin: Oh no, Mrs. Robinson. I think, I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends. I mean that

I can tell you the license plate numbers of all six cars outside. I can tell you that our waitress is left-handed and the guy sitting up at the counter weighs two hundred fifteen pounds and knows how to handle himself. I know the best place to look for a gun is the cab of the gray truck outside, and at this altitude, I can run flat out for a half mile before my hands start shaking. 8)

I think you may have given the whole thing away by mentioning "The Dude".

The Big Lebowski

I am going to hold off putting up a new one since Geoff still needs to do one from getting "The Mexican" correct.

The Big Lebowski kicks butt! One of the best of a number of great films by the Coen brothers. Couldn't resist. :) There's so many good lines in that movie it could fill this whole thread!

Jackie Treehorn: People forget the brain is the biggest erogenous zone.
The Dude: On you, maybe.

Walter Sobchak: Nihilists! F__k me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

I'll stop now. :)

While we're waiting for Geoff to make an appearance, here's a few lines from one of my all time favorites, although I think you need to have lived there to get all the inside jokes........

Here, let me not drive for a while!

Trudi: Sheila has been studying the art of conversation.
Harris: Oh, you're taking a course in conversation?
Sheila: Yes.
[Long pause

Tom: I'll have a decaf coffee.
Trudi: I'll have a decaf espresso.
Morris Frost: I'll have a double decaf cappuccino.
Ted: Give me decaffeinated coffee ice cream.
Harris: I'll have a half double decaffeinated half-caf, with a twist of lemon.
Trudi: I'll have a twist of lemon.
Tom: I'll have a twist of lemon.
Morris Frost: I'll have a twist of lemon.
Cynthia: I'll have a twist of lemon

Yep, great story, my favorite part had to be when they were in the art gallery!

Another fun part of this was catching all the cameos!

Did you see Paula Abdul on roller skates in front of the Tail 'o the Pup?

How about this one?

I have you now!

D: What'd the devil give you for your soul, Tommy?

T: Well, he taught me to play this here guitar real good.

D: Oh son, for that you sold your everlasting soul?

T: Well, I wasn't usin' it.

No guesses for this 1999 film? It was a terrific spoof of the space Sci-fi star trek genre with an all star cast....

Here are some more lines then..........

Never give up! never surrender!

Sir Alexander Dane: Could they be the miners?
Fred Kwan: Sure, they're like three years old.
Sir Alexander Dane: MINERS, not MINORS.
Fred Kwan: You lost me.

Brandon's Mom: Where are you going with those fireworks?
Brandon: Well, the Protector got super-accelerated coming out of the black hole, and it, like, nailed the atmosphere at Mach 15, which, you guys know, is pretty unstable, obviously, so we're gonna help Laredo guide it on the vox ultra-frequency carrier and use Roman candles for visual confirmation.
Brandon's Mom: Uh, all right, dinner's at seven.
[Brandon exits. Mom turns to a dubious Dad]
Brandon's Mom: Well, he's outside

Galaxy Quest! One of Tim Allen's better movies.

Not SciFi but how about:

Adhemar: And how would you beat him?
Fence: With a stick. While he slept. But on a horse, with a lance? That man is unbeatable.
