I second Jazz - and the Jack Stack in Martin City. The Jack Stacks and Smoke Stack have the best bbq beans in town.

The best chicken wings in town are at BB's Lawnside BBQ, just a block east of where Strouds used to be at 85th & Troost. Ask for 'em extra crispy, and lay on the Louisiana Hot Sauce. I like the Cajun food there and lots of folks like their BBQ. Live Blues every night.

BBQ mavens need to give Hayward's a try, Antioch at College. My favorite sauce in town.

Seriously? Haywards?

We find it to be about the worst BBQ we've ever eaten, sauce or no.............

Hayward's is awful and kinda of a dirty place. Buy the sauce at the grocery store.
The last time I ate at KC Masterpiece, I felt like I'd been held up at gunpoint.
Gates is good, but don't like the herding and yelling.
Haven't been to LC's in a while, but it was always my favorite.

I love Jack's Stack in Martin City and LuLu's Noodle shop! My stomach feels at home with these resto, and they have good variety of food choices. :)
