Rescheduled for this Sat, Sept 20th

Anybody still going besides us?
We're gonna do it again!

Boulevard Drive-In on Merriam Dr

Sat, Sept 13th

Gates open at 7:00 pm

We won't know what movie they'll be showing till the Monday before the show date......

The weather should be beautiful, but don't forget to bring blankets and such......coolers, popcorn, lawnchairs etc

in me, this is the perfect opportunity to drive Big Papi, but NNNOOOO I have to carpool

and four grown adults in Big Papi is not an option for a round trip of this nature.

Plenty of room yet, still don't know what movie will be showing, but I will post it up as soon as they tell me. Anyone know what's coming out that week? I'd love to see the new "Deathrace" movie at the drive-in - that would be fun!

Just a reminder, blankies, warm jackets, long pants are all a pretty good idea. Also comfy lawn chairs and a cooler of your favorite cold (or hot!) adult beverage and any treats you like to bring - who brought red licorice last time? Laurie?

Might be late enough in the season that the bugs will be minimal, but some no-bug spritz isn't a bad idea either........

Some people brought their pets last time (did they charge admission for them?) but I doubt we'll bring the Mini-poopers, they don't really like movies all that much...........

This Sat's movies will be

Death Race with Jason Strathan

and

Mirrors with Kiefer Sutherland

Should be a fun night, but it promises to be pretty cool by the end of the evening, so come prepared!

Let's meet at the same parking lot a couple of blocks from the theatre at 7:15, gates open at 7:30 and the movie starts at 8:20 so we won't have as long a wait as we did in July.

Anyone who needs directions can go to the previous thread or just ask, the drive-in is at 1020 Merriam lane and the parking lot is at the corner of Roe and Merriam Ln. or PM me.........

Yeah, I'm not sure what to think at this point. Especially since I went to my favorite weather program yesterday just before we all went to HPT and it emphatically said NO Rain for Topeka yesterday, and we all know how THAT turned out!

Right now they're talking 60% chance of precip on Sat, but since they were SOOOO accurate yesterday...........

Well, folks, I'm on the fence over whether to go ahead with this Sat night's Drive-in or put it off till next weekend.....

Any opinions?

Put it off till next Sat?

Wait till Fri afternoon or Sat am to make a decision?

Right now I'm leaning towards the latter..........

Today's paper said rain all weekend, I'm OK with going next Sat night instead, as long as they're still open this late in the year.
