A friend and I are going Friday. Planning on viewing from the west berm
Supposedly a view from corner 14 thru corner 8.

One of the great things about HPT is that it's easy to move around the track to get different views, and there are lots of good places to watch from. I think turn 1 is always exciting, and from the top step of the grandstands you can see most of the rest of the track. Hope to see you there!

Would love to go with you guys but would like to see MINI's race. Unfortunately, only a couple of classic MINI's in the GTL class on Saturday and one Cooper S in SSB class on Sunday. The SCCA moved MINI from the SSC class to SSB last year which made it much harder to win. Was fun to see MINI win SSC the prior two years, though!

Right now, we're planning to go up pretty early on Friday and stay most of the day, Sat and Sund are still open, especially if it rains on Sunday. I'll call later today and firm things up with you.......

I'd be up for a caravan to topeka if you guys want. i'm going to my folks place first though and then on to the races. wasn't planning to leave until friday about 9am....races start much earlier...
