Friday Meet sometime?

Would anyone want to have a friday meet? I would love to meet everyone on here however I have noticed that many of the meets are on saturdays or sundays. I work both days all day.

This is a feeler to see if anyone would want to do something. Thank you all!

Tom, working sucks! But how else would we be able to buy a MINI? Many of the get togethers have been on Thursdays. Stay tuned.

Fridays (or Friday eves or nights)are fine for me. This has been a very unusual summer for me regarding MINI/mini gatherings as I have either had work or family conflicts with 95% of the events, including the friggen wedding I have to attend on the same night as Baron's halloween party later this month.

Fridays would allow my wife to attend too, since she works Tues, Wed and Thurs nights

sweet! so what do we want to do? I am available just about any friday or thursday evenings as well. shall we have a chilis dinner or do we want to meet at the plaza for something? I am game for just about whatever.

There's one at 95th and Metcalf and one in the Crossroads district too....

I usually try and make it back every weekend. Like I said, the latest we get out is 5pm, so I get into town about 6:30, so somethin' around 7:30 usually is perfect! I usually don't change, I usually just get in and go, lol.

So I heard Jack Stack off of Metcalf, and I through out the time of around 7:30pm and haven't heard any different on either. So that's where I'll be! Unless I hear different some time today.

We had a great time at Jack Stack last night! It took them a while to get a table for us as there were 10 who showed up altogether.

It was fun to meet some new MINI owners and welcome them to the madness, and I hope to see a couple of you enthusiasts on the track at Heartland Park next spring for some "need for speed" Touring Laps!

BTW, is Allison posting here yet? If not we need to hear her voice on the forum.

holy cow! well i guess i missed it. the mini was in getting a bra and tint this weekend so there was no way i could have made it i was figuring in a few weeks lol oh well

I had a great time myself. Was great to see those who came. This is what, to me, makes own a car that much more enjoyable. Fun to see all the rides as well!

I don't know about the rest of you, but next weekend is good for me as well. Could make this a weekly/bi-weekly thing! I should be coming over again next friday night as well. Hopefully get to work on the MINI with some new parts. Anyone still interested in comin' out for that?

Allison is on here, but doesn't have a computer at home anymore. She gets on at work now and then, but not much on the forum. I'll let her know to chime in.

I am posting from my phone so hopefully this works. what where this friday? if it is a mod party I'm in to lend a hand. I just don't get paid till the 30th so that is why that day is perfect for a meet for me. I would be in for friday meets!

I have a lot of stuff to install, so I may be installing parts all weekend. I still haven't decided if I want to put the cat-back on or not, I may just sell it.

As far as friday, I'm game for anything. I say 7:30 is still a good time, especially if we have a lot of people w/o reservations. I'm sure it'll depend on weather as well. If it's decent, meeting outside somewhere, or at a Sonic as I've heard some of you do before...
