I received conformation today for this run next May----

Run for the Ozarks
is set for May 2010.

They are working on the Google Groups and invites. If you have sent your contact information to Jonathan, you will be included. It is recommend that
you start making reservations pronto at the www.HotelSeville.com in Harrison, AR for May 13, 14, 15.

Here's a little more info:

From Jonathan Souza:
As before, everyone is welcome, not everyone is invited. Anyone who shows interest will get an invite but we will not automatically post the invite publicly. This way, the event stays a manageable size and does not become a ‘Dragon’ for the road – racer crowd. Further, the hotel is kind of, well, quaint and there are limited rooms. Conceivably, we could take over the whole thing.

The invite goes out in a week or two. I will send you the logistics as soon as they are ready.

We booked at the Hotel Seville. $228.23 including all taxes for three nights ---- We will be motoring over to Memphis on Sunday to visit relatives for a few days and BBQ.

Here are some details about the Seville Hotel. Phone;870-741-2322. As of tonight 29 rooms were blocked and 6 were taken.Web site, hotelseville.com. 2q beds$253.95/3nights,2dubs $200.95/3nights,1q/$200.95/3nights.Lots to do in the area.Was told it's :45 S of Branson.Approx 5:30 drive from KC.

So, has anyone gotten the invite yet? Made a reservation at Hotel Seville and have not received a confirmation. Called back and they resent-didn't get. Sent an e-mail requesting the confirmation and have not received a reply from that. How about you?

Need to take us off the list for this trip. Signed up to go to the Dragon Tail on the TN/NC boarder's the first of May. Next planned/paid for trip for Arky will be the MMOTM this coming Oct.

OK, who is going to attend this event? Davester/Charlotte and Blugoose for sure. Anyone else? There is a large contingent from the Denver area going. It will be fun. Crawfish festival, 5K run and alot of MINI runs scheduled --- Look at the posts above for details.

I've read where a rock slide has closed Tail of the Dragon and it could be months before it reopens.

Sadly, we are not going to be able to make this HPMS event since work has me bogged down through June.

When are y'all planning to leave? And has anyone heard what lodging is still available? I haven't been keeping up with this but looks like we might be able to make it (fingers crossed).

I hear there is a 5k at the festival and there's an amazing mountain bike trail not too far away. Is anyone planning to enter the race or bike while there?
