Myself and Meg are thinking of driving separate plus the two kids. So add WC50 and MiniliciousJCW to the list. I just will have to get my car out of the shop first. Hail dents being removed tomorrow.

Thanks. I am terrible about getting around in Kansas. 
If we get the thunderstorm and hail storm they are calling for, I will be in the barking bus instead of the MINI.

Right now the weather guessers are saying 40% chance by 3pm moving to a 90% chance by 9 pm, so I have a feeling it will be raining........

Well I was getting a car wash before going but no time and rain. I'll be there around 7ish, I get off work 7 and I work downtown KCMO, so however long that takes. Wait for me guys!!!

Daughter with auto issues forces me to cancel plans for what appears to be the biggest Sonic night we've ever had. I was really looking forward to meeting all the new folks in the club. Oh well,maybe I'll see all of you in May at Jasons-Frank

The weather really held on for us, if you didn't mind the wind. Raining pretty good here now (I live about 3 miles from the Sonic), so we dodged that one.
Sorry we missed you RichardM. Hope that we didn't miss anyone else, either. I was surprised that everyone wanted to go on the drive -- everyone seemed to be having a really great time chatting. I thought for sure some would just want to stay around and talk more.
Thanks to Don (dimini) for leading the drive. One little hiccup at the turn to 129th, but overall a nice little run. Saw some back roads I'd never seen before.
I've posted photos on Facebook from the event. When I get time, I'll get them loaded up on Flickr and crossposted here.

Thanks to all who came, it's always fun to catch up with old friends and meet new ones too!
We had a terrific turnout despite the imminent death and destruction the weather guessers were calling for, we had to cut the run short by about 10 miles due to road closings and construction but since it was getting pretty dark by the time we finished it it's probably just as well. I think we created quite a stir as we drove thru some of those quieter neighborhoods, I could hear some comments as we went thru the stop sign at one point!
I hope our new members came away with a positive impression of our group and will continue to be a part of our events - there's lots of fun stuff coming up this summer, and if you have an idea of something you'd like the club to do, by all means give a shout out here on the forum!
