Zack, you might want to rethink your English Union Jack theme for a US July 4th parade. There are some people along the parade rout that might not like what you are saying. We still get some grief for driving a foreign car. Might want to stick with Ole Glory. Just my thoughts --

Thats a bit hard when the car has Union Jack valve caps, a rear view mirror cap, and driving light covers not to mention the new Union jack fender vinyls. I can't remove em. What do you recommend?

I'll leave my windows rolled up to avoid the flying rotten tomatoes.

It's time to shine up your MINIs/Minis, drive real, real slow and wave  thousands of adoring, cheering fans.
Remember, there are a couple of rules that is strictly enforced.

1. No Candy throwing :(
2. You must not get out of your vehicle while the parade is in progress (fans are not allowed to run up to the cars either)

The date of the parade is Wednesday, July 4. The parade begins at 10:00 am at 63rd Street and Hwy 99 (the street behind The shopping complex where Price Chopper is located) and ends in Historic Downtown Parkville. Please plan on getting to the staging area by 9:00 am.

This year’s theme is “Parkville July 4th Blast Off”, so feel free to dress up you MINI/Mini. This is a very family friendly event and a lot of fun.

Other 4th of July activities:
Pancake breakfast 7:00 am - 11:00 am at the American Legion
Parade 10:00 am
Carnival and vendors: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm

Thanks
Marlow Main
