Had two different people tell me today that they always know when I'm coming because they can hear the distinctive exhaust note of my MINI. They like the low rumble of my after-market Borla cat-back exhaust!

Well, I can tell you that following you around HPT I can always hear your car over mine, and I can hear you on the vids I post of our days at the track too!

Are you over 200K miles yet?

Your car has an awesome exhaust note. I'd probably go that route if my JCW exhaust ever goes kaput.

From the sound of things I think I know the answer but is the aftermarket exhaust really worth the money performance/sound/mpg wise?
I have never had aftermarket exhaust on any vehicle i've ever owned. I'm cheap! Usually unless it's broke or worn out I don't replace it
Having had 2 vehicles that had exhaust rust out around 200k I may be replacing my Mini's exhaust in less than a year unless it is better quality than what I had before.
