I would like to thank everyone for coming out and hope everyone had a good time. Thanks for donating to our charities and special thanks to those that contributed a little extra. It really was nice to see some new faces and chat with all the Miniacs. We all owe Dori a huge thanks for taking on the registration for this event. Wish she could have been there. Big thanks to Baron and Samer for all there support they provide us. Those that donated prices need a shout out too (country bob and 1Msippi). I will post a grand total of fund raised once I consolidate everything with Dori.

One a side note, did anyone happen to grab the banner cuz I dang sure forgot it! I'll contact the Market in the morning if not. Ooops!

Was a great day. Carole and I met some new people and reaquainted with others. Need to hang with y'all more often.
Sure was a fine looking group of MINIs

Good talking to and meeting everyone, was a relaxing day. Much better that watching the Chiefs loose

I had fun seeing everyone! Sorry I had to leave early. I ended up having to go to the hospital for appendicitis.

Just wanted to let you all know things turned out great for us. The event was fun for us, and it was great to meet new MINI motorists! Outstanding weather!

We did get to Baron's and they gave us a radiator cap...yes...gave us a cap...and we did leave Dick's radiator cap with the service counter. Thank you for the rescue Dick! The car is fine, didn't miss a beat going home, nor has the temp gauge budged off normal....even with some 'spirited testing'...LOL!

We'll see if next year we can convince a few C.O.R.N. members to attend.

We have had other members of CORN come to our events, including the Kernel hisownself, and of course Eileen D.

And you all are always welcome!

We also did a fun joint event this past spring with the Iowa MINI Club, that one will re run again next spring and I hope we get even more participation - and that one would be easy and close for some CORN mebers to attend..

I met up with Kirk last night to collect the last of the donations.

This event raised a total of $285.00 for our charities. Way to go !!!
$180 for Animal Haven
$105 for Harvesters

I will be dropping the donations of next week.

Was the banner ever found???

I recovered the club banner. One of the market staff turned it in to the main office and I picked it up last week. I can't be trusted with it though. Someone else needs to take over banner duty. I have forgot it two out of two times I've had it. It's just not safe in my hands

I dropped of the Animal Haven donations today over lunch. They were very appreciative that we would think of them and the critters they help.The director said THANK YOU !!!!

The Haversters donations were dropped off today. Thank you for your support.
