My Sirius account expired Jan 2nd and I didn't want to renew for $159.95 a year. I sure liked the uninterrupted 50/60/70 music but I really didn't need the service. UNTIL-- I received a call on Jan 8th offering to renew the service half price for a year. I accepted their offer ---

You should of held out just a little longer. we got ours for 30 bucks for 6 months.

Just wait and do not re-up. They will call you and offer you 50% off for a years service. If I remember correctly, you have 30 days to re-sign BUT they will call within two weeks after years service with the offer.

When my notice arrived I called to cancel the service, so automatic renewal did not occur. Told them I did not drive the car enough to pay the regular fee. She asked if I did enjoy it when I drove the car -yes. She asked if I would pay half price - yes. Pretty easy!
