Under least expensive at $28,750. Unless this was a rhetorical question.

I fully expected to see my Audi on the "expensive" side of the chart.....and of course, I have a MINI......as a counterbalance.

Whadya bet the biggest component of the cost of owning a car is depreciation? Expensive cars have further to fall.....

I was rather surprised to see the Kia Rio under most expensive.

This is fun to look at but I think the job was pretty poorly done. This, " estimates factor in depreciation, fuel cost, loan interest, insurance premiums, sales tax, and maintenance and repairs." so surely it will be using comparable vehicles. In the Luxury SUV category they compare the RDX and Escalade which have almost a $30k difference in base price which will take the loan interest and insurance premiums way up. The two vehicles in my opinion are not even comparable based on size alone.... What's funny is the regular SUV categories is broken up into 3 sizes. Also, where the Mini (based of the $28k figure I'm assuming they are talking about the Cooper S) rates good in Sporty Cars looks good, but wait they are comparing it to a Corvette Z06 which has a base price over double and falls victim to the same flaw. I sure hope my Mini cost less than a Z06!With the glaringly bad comparisons it's hard to take this consumer report seriously.

I'm not trying to be a downer, and maybe it's just because I haven't had my morning coffee, but thanks for posting. :)
